U-Boat Attack in North Atlantic
SS Parismina was torpedoed in the North Altantic by U-624 while en rout to New York. One torpedo struck near midship. There was considerable damage as the ship was in ballast. ... Although there was difficulty in launching the lifeboats, 55 survivors were rescued.
