U-Boat Attack in the Caribbean
On the morning of May 27, SS Jack was torpedoed by U-155 while about 100 miles of the coast of Haiti. The ship sank quickly and the port liafboat was swamped by the ship's undertow. ... Most survivors were picked-up four days later, however seven surtvivors spent 32 days on a raft before being rescued.
