Could use official help with awards and decs...when my Father retired...he only included four awards on his DD-214.  Requesting that document in 2002 upon his death...was not representative of his service...listed were Navy Good Conduct, CAR, NUC and National Defense...he retired as a HMC(SS) from the USS Marvin Shields out of Long Beach in 1974...
