Our Dad loved serving his country and was a great patriot.... he enjoyed his time on the TUGBOAT USS HOGA ... he was a great cook, so was recruited to be chef on Sundays when the cook was off...

My brother and I visited the HOGA  in OCTOBER 2019, at the Arkansas Maritime Museum .... we walked in the footsteps of our Dad......He would have been proud of us to have sought out the tug and actually made the trip to see it 75 years later!

Dad taught us love of country and love of GOD!
