RICHARD T. "DICK" FISHER

In 1943, I was sworn in as a Seaman Apprentice in the V-12 Navy College Program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Then in 1945, I received my Ensign Commission at the US Naval Mid. School, University of Notre Dame. Next, I served aboard the USS Borie DD704. In 1946, I was released to inactive duty and completed college under the GI Bill. In 1953, I became active in the Reserve and completed Twenty Satisfactory Years of Federal Service.

I spent three summers on TAD as an instructor at the USN RTC in Philadelphia, PA.

Enjoy meeting and getting to know many fine, dedicated persons while in the Reserve.
Retired as Liutenant Commander, USNR from the USN on the 21st of December, 1984.
