His children, Karen L. Haas and Richard K. Haas, have donated a large collection of photographs from Charles Haas that also included four menus (one pictured above) from his time aboard the USS Webster ARV-2.  At the end of the war the ship supported a survey of Japanese aircraft and a number of photos of that work are included.

The collection, which is maintained in the archives at the Navy Memorial, contains many photos taken aboard the USS Webster ARV-2 including this one of Charles Haas visiting with his brother-in-law Charles Reiher.  Many photos of Reiher's service including salvage work in Casablanca are also in the collection.

The collection also includes photos, such as this funeral at sea, taken aboard the USS Clay (APA-39) from an unknown source.
