Wayne Jones, 80, of Escondido, California, passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2025, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.  He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps, progressing through enlisted grades until he retired with the commissioned rank of Major.  After his military career, he continued his dedication to leadership and education as the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services for the Bonsall School District.  He is survived by his wife, three children, and four grandchildren.
