William G. Koppinger   64, of Unadilla, Nebraska, died on Sunday August 4, 2013. He was born on October 29, 1948 in Benkelman, Nebraska to William Frank and Della Mae (Haines) Koppinger. William was retired from the U. S. Navy where he was an air traffic controller and a journalist.  Bill was also the news anchorman in Oberlin, Kansas. He served as the Executive Director of the Creede, Colorado / Mineral County Chamber of Commerce and was the Assistant Adjutant for the Nebraska American Legion.   His remains will rest in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C.

 His family members include his wife, Karen (Sullivan) Koppinger; daughters, Glenda Koppinger, Austyn (John) Horner; son, Dylan Koppinger; sisters, Susan (Arlyn) Shineman, Sandy (Arkie) Moberly; mother, Della Mae Koppinger; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

William was preceded in death by his father.
