E-Boat Engagement off Normandy
PC-564 sustained major damage in an engagement with German E-boats in the English channel off Normandy and is later grounded on the French coast at Pierre de Herpin light. French fishing boats arrive to help the wounded. PC-564 is towed into St. Malo harbor.
