Warren John Severin of Franklin, Tennessee passed away at his home on Sunday, March 3, 2013.  He was a World War II Navy veteran.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1951 with a degree in electrical engineering.  Warredn then went to work for the Natural Gas Pipeline in Chicago as a mechanical engineer.  Mr. Severin wasa professional engineer, the 1974 Internal Combustion Engine Award recipient, and held several patents on turbine engines.  He remained with this company for 35 years until retiring to Palm Harbor, Florida.  In retirement he pursued his passion for golf and accomplished the feat of hitting not one, but two holes in one.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, a son, Robert, his parents, George adn Mary, a sister Marion and a brother, Kermit.  Warreen is survived by his daughter, Linda Carrick (Mrs. Bert), three grandchildren; Megan, Brittany (Steven) and Brian and a brother, Dale Severin.
