William Arthur Thomas, Jr was born on July 18, 1920 in Melcher, Iowa to William Arthur Thomas, Senior and his wife, Harriet Hickman Thomas.  Left to grieve him are three sons, Thomas James Thomas, D. William Thomas and William A. Thomas, III.
