TURNIPSEED-ELTON

Excerpts from mortuary obituary published in March 2020:

Elton Gilbert Turnipseed Jr. passed away in Carlsbad, California, on March 20, 2020.  He was born on May 13, 1929 in Greenville, Mississippi, graduated from Chamberlain-Hunt Academy in 1947, and went on to earn a degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech University.  Elton was most proud of serving his country as a Naval Aviator from 1951 to 1956.  He will be interred at County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan, Mississippi, near his first wife who died in 2005.  He is survived by his second wife, four children, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
